Google Voice网站顶部很早出现了如下提示：

Voice 即将取代 Hangouts 的电话和短信功能。您改用 Voice 后，系统会关闭 Hangouts 的电话和短信功能。

Voice will soon replace Hangouts for making phone calls and sending texts. Switching to Voice turns off calls and texts in Hangouts.

环聊多了很多的限制，包括对可拨打电话国家的限制、核心功能上的限制等
